This time my husband, my son and I wanted to go to a place where we could relax. So we decided to go to a beautiful eco-lodge in Turrialba Costa Rica called Pacuare Lodge.

I have been to Pacuare Lodge before so I was well aware about how beautiful this place is but let me describe it to you: Let’s start by saying the it is in the middle of the rain forest and it is right next to one of Costa Rica’s best rafting spots, the Pacuare River. It offers thirteen independent bungalows and a main lodge.

The hotel has five lodging options and for me they are all beautiful. But the ones that impressed me the most were the honeymoon suites and the linda vista suites. They both have an outdoor shower with solar heated water and some of the best views on the property. After a lot of thinking and walking around the property I came to the conclusion that the hotel would make a great destination for honeymooners.

The room was simply beautiful. I loved the place and the rafting tour that we took during our stay in the area was incredible. The guides were great and we got to see a huge amount of wildlife. Plus the tour around the Turrialba volcano was great.
