Open Question: Why does the Army not require annual mental health screenings for corrections MP’s?
I was a military Doctor close to a Army jail and many of my Corrections MP patients exhibited symptoms of PTSD. Their PTSD was likely caused by the increase in violence that I became familiar of when I got moved to the ER.
The inmates killed each other and maimed each every day and there was not a night that went by without a brown shirt in my ER. When I tried to send the guards to mental health I would get call from the OIC to who said the commander got a call from the garrison commander and to back down. I even knew of 3 incidents where 3 of the soldiers randomly tried to kill them selves that their chain of command had reported as “accidents.”
Well, to make a long story short I work at major va regional office now and I am finding out that post service suicide rate from 31e’ is 20% which is not noticeable as there are only 2,700 veterans from that field and about a 1000 active.
What can be done to get mandatory mental health screenings for these MOS’s as if we could do our job they could be easily treated.
I will add that many screenings were taboo as they were described a special.
Open Question: What is considered to be a sales income for bank?
I am finding out profit margin on sales ratio but I am confused what can be considered as a sale income for bank since they do not sell any products. I looked at the annual report and all i can find is Interest income and other operating income. Please let me know if int income or other operating income can be considered as sale?
