Open Question: Annual family trip to Orlando’s Disney, should we think of buying a house there?
We have 4 kids; 7, 5 & two 3 year olds. Every year since my husband and I have been married we drive to Disney over the March Break for a week or two. The kids always have a great time- so do we! Every time we go we stay at a different hotel, in a different area, and we see different things. This is the first year that we’ll be going to the water parks and Animal Kingdom in over 5 years!

Getting to my main question here… we were discussing recently of buying a house down there. We are financially stable enough, that’s not the issue, but we were wondering if it’s worth it? We don’t go more then once a year and we were thinking that’s a waste. We’re just interested for now in how much it costs (rough estimate), where the best place/area is to buy a house down there, and any other answers you may have for questions new vacation home buyers might have!

Open Question: How can I meet people when I go on vacation?
My family decided on a whim that we should go to Florida in the next week. I’m 15.

We were going to go to Disney in Orlando, but the tickets are all booked up for the amount of people we need on the flight home. So that’s pretty much out. Are there any other fun places/cities in Florida, such as Miami, that you would recommend in case Orlando doesn’t work out? And what there is to do there?

Also… how can I find some people to hang out with while I’m there? I’m a pretty sociable person in a group, but it’s difficult for me when I’m not and on my own to approach people.
