Open Question: I am in UK, he is in Netherlands. How to meet?
I am in UK on a business trip, I have two weeks left. He is in Netherlands, his passport is with legal authority, as he is going to receive citizenship of Netherlands. I cannot get European visa, no time and he has no passport to travel to UK.
How can we meet? He wants to travel by train using his ID and driving licence. Another option for him is to come by plain and stay in neutral zone, will I be able to get to neutral zone in UK airport without visa?
Please help, this is so important! and no other time……

Open Question: World’s simplest EU-to-UK socket converter?
When travelling in the Middle East, I found an amazing socket cover, which allows you to plug a European-style 2-pin plug into a UK-style 3-pin socket. No metal or electrics – this is a small, all-plastic “mask” which you plug into the wall, which opens the socket allowing you to then plug the 2-pin cable *through* itself.
In other words, this is just a thin, all-plastic plate with UK-style pins, and holes to allow you to pass an EU-style 2-pin plug through.
… but I can’t find out where to buy another one – anyone know where?
