9. If you see a yellow flag you should wait to see if the conditions change before entering into the water. Yellow flags represent dangerous surf and should be approached with caution.

10. If you don’t understand the flags or are unsure it if it is safe to swim, ask a lifeguard, they will be happy to direct you.
